Yes! You can book our wedding DJ services or photography individually. Our Diamond package combines both services if you’d like to work with CVWC for your music and photos.

We serve weddings in Eau Claire, Menomonie and the Chippewa Valley. Every package includes 100 miles of round-trip travel measured from Menomonie, Wisconsin.

Round-trip miles beyond the included 100 are charged at $1.50 per mile. For example, a venue requiring 140 miles of round-trip travel would have a $60 travel fee. The same travel policy applies to DJ-only, photography-only and Diamond bookings.

Yes. A discovery call gives you a chance to share your plans, ask questions and decide whether our approach fits what you want.

It also helps us understand your priorities before you book. Your wedding team should feel like a good fit for you. We’ll talk openly about our style so you can make that decision with confidence.

Your initial retainer payment reserves your wedding date. Under our four-payment option, that’s the first of four equal payments. Under our traditional payment plan, it’s a 40% retainer.

We’ll discuss your service needs during your required discovery call before moving forward with booking.

Yes. We offer two payment options:

• Four equal payments: Your first payment reserves your date. The second payment request is sent 3–4 months later, followed by the third 3–4 months after that. Your final payment is due 30 days before your wedding.
• Traditional payment plan: A 40% retainer reserves your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding.

If your wedding date doesn’t allow enough time for the four-payment schedule, we automatically select the traditional plan.

We combine live transitions with high-energy party music from different generations. Every CVWC DJ mixes live, connecting songs creatively to keep the music flowing.

The first hour of dancing generally features timeless wedding favorites that welcome older guests and all ages onto the floor. As the night progresses, we build toward a club atmosphere with our specialty: 2000s–2010s pop and hip-hop throwbacks. Think 2016 house-party energy, with familiar favorites and remixes that bring something extra to the songs you love.

We bring big energy to your grand entrance, then keep microphone use purposeful throughout the evening. For your entrance, we encourage guests to stand, cheer loudly and wave their cloth napkins overhead as we welcome you into the room.

After that, we handle the necessary announcements plus anything you need us to share. Once dancing starts, we let our mixing and song choices do most of the talking. Our focus is on the music and your dance floor.

Yes. Your planning questionnaire includes must-play songs, play-if-possible selections and a do-not-play list so we understand your priorities.

Country, classic rock and love songs often fit into cocktail hour and dinner. We may include some country during the first hour of dancing, but it isn’t a major part of our peak dance sets unless it’s on your must-play list. If you’re envisioning a country-heavy reception, let’s discuss that during your discovery call to make sure our style fits.

Yes! Guest requests can help your friends and family feel involved in the celebration. We consider requests based on whether they fit the current energy or can take it up another level.

We don’t play every request. Your preferences and do-not-play list still guide us as we choose music that works for the dance floor.

Yes. Our Platinum DJ package includes up to eight hours covering your ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception. Our other DJ packages offer different coverage options.

Our approach is candid and documentary-style, with editing that tends to lean light and airy. We also take time to understand your preferences and what you’re drawn to in wedding photography.

We love seeing your Pinterest board. It helps us visualize the mood, photos and details you have in mind. Reviewing that inspiration alongside our galleries helps us align on the direction for your photos.

The right amount depends on which parts of your day you want photographed. Our photography packages offer four, six or eight hours of wedding-day coverage.

Start with your priorities, such as getting ready, your ceremony, portraits or reception moments. We’ll discuss your schedule with you to help determine which option fits. Compare coverage on our wedding photography page.

We deliver your full wedding gallery within 6–8 weeks. We also provide sneak peeks within 24–48 hours so you have a few early moments to enjoy while you wait.

Your photos are delivered through an online gallery where you can view and download them.

The number depends on your photography package. Our Silver package includes 200+ images, Gold includes 300+ images and Platinum includes 400+ images.

Your package includes an online gallery and a print release. The Diamond combination package includes Platinum photography coverage.

Our photography packages include one photographer. A second photographer is available.

If you’re interested in a second photographer, bring it up when we discuss your plans so we can review that option with you.

Our Gold photography package includes a complimentary 30-minute couples photoshoot. Platinum includes a complimentary one-hour couples photoshoot.

Yes! We can share a complete wedding gallery so you can see how we document a wedding beyond the highlights in our portfolio.

Look through the different parts of the day to get a feel for our approach and editing style. You’re welcome to share your favorite images or a Pinterest board so we can discuss what you envision for your own photos.

Diamond combines our Platinum DJ package with our Platinum photography package. It also includes an audio guestbook and 50 LED party sticks.

With Diamond, we work as one team throughout planning and your wedding day. We hold joint DJ and photography meetings, manage your timeline in the same client software and work side by side to stay aligned.

That shared approach helps us coordinate the music, photos and timing of your important moments so you don’t have to relay plans between two separate companies.

No. Your DJ and photography coverage can begin at different times. They generally do because the moments you want photographed may start before you need DJ coverage.

We’ll discuss both schedules during planning so you understand when each service begins and ends within your booked coverage.

You’ll use our client portal to share the details for your booked services. For DJ planning, that includes your music preferences, must-play songs, play-if-possible selections and do-not-play list.

For photography, you’ll share your shot list, family members, timeline and other important details. If you’ve booked Diamond, both services use the same portal so we can work from one shared plan.

We meet with you at least twice: once 4–6 weeks before your wedding and again during the week of your wedding. If you’d like additional meetings, we can arrange those too.

The first meeting helps us reconnect and understand your current vision, music preferences and photography style preferences for your booked services. We’ll also explain what to expect from us. Your portal doesn’t need to be finished for this meeting.

Complete your portal before it locks seven days before your wedding. At our final meeting, we’ll review those details together, create your wedding-day timeline and finalize the plan.
